Key Stage 1
www.phonicsplay.co.uk A variety of phonic games and activities linked to each of the phases in Letters and Sounds. Some of the games and activities are free to access but you can subscribe to the site for £12 a year which gives you access to a greater range of games and activities. Useful parent notes.
www.ictgames.co.uk Literacy and Numeracy games and activities. Each activity has learning objectives and is age group appropriate. The numeracy section covers all aspects of maths such as counting, place value, money, doubling and halving, number facts, addition, subtraction, time and shape and measures. The Literacy section is based on phonics, reading and writing activities.
www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks1 For KS1, BBC Bitesize is a brilliant website for practising Numeracy, Literacy and Science. Full of interesting facts, games and quizes to extend the children's knowledge and confidence in a fun way.
